THE men’s and women’s volleyball teams of the BIT International College (BIT IC) are on the cusp of sweeping the collegiate championships after they defeated their opponents in Game 1 of the finals in the Bohol Schools Athletic Association (BSAA) Season 9 at the University of Bohol (UB) gym in Tagbilaran City on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019.

The men’s team of BIT IC turned away UB in straight sets, 25-18, 25-17, 25-22, to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series. The school’s volleybelles also did the same, sweeping UB, 25-20, 25-12, 25-19, to stand a win away from capturing the championship.

Game 2 will be on Saturday.

UB however, bounced back and had its revenge against BIT IC in the girl’s division as it won over the latter in four sets, 25-18, 25-18, 27-29, 25-18. Holy Name University meanwhile, took a step closer to the boys’ title, after they defeated UB, 25-22, 25-18, 25-18.
