CEBUANO jins Alyssa Llenes and Johann Concepcion won a bronze medal in the Freestyle Mixed Team event in the 5th Asian Junior Poomsae Championships in Amman, Jordan.

Llenes earned another bronze in the Recognized Team Female event.

“Winning at such a tender age requires maturity which both have in abundance.

They’re at a crossroad since pretty soon they’ll be in senior high and eventually college,” Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) chairman Tony del Prado told SunStar Cebu.

“It is our fervent hope that they will continue their devotion to the sport.” Llenes is still 14 years old, while Concepcion is 16. (EKA)
