HARMONITO Dela Torre will take on Chinese prospect Yang Yonquiang in the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Lucas Matthysse fight on July 15 in the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dela Torre is looking to bounce back after suffering the first defeat of his promising career, a unanimous decision loss to Togstsogt Nyambayar last November in Las Vegas.

“Harmonito is very confident and has been looking good in the training. He’s been here before so there’s no pressure on his part,” said Dela Torre’s handler, Sanman Promotions CEO JC Manangquil. Dela Torre, 24, is 19-1 with 12 knockouts, while Yang is 10-0 with seven knockouts.

Pacquiao (59-7-2, 39 KOs) challenges Matthysse (39-4, 36 KOs) for the latter’s World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight belt in the main event. (EKA)
