NINE different teams led by the reigning champions Eagles will compete in the Elite Basketball Club City - Season 17 starting on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Visayan Glass Gym in Barangay Guadalupe.

Presented by Tough Gear Sportswear, the league founded by Bertoni Salazar is considered to be one of the most competitive in the city, with several well-known local players showcasing their skills in this league.

The odds-on favorite, however, are the Eagles. Already boasting of a core led by former University of the Visayas great Randy dela Pisa, businessman and sportsman Mark Ynoc and former Cebu Shark Ian Ortega, the Eagles added even talent to their roster in former Cesafi standouts Tricky Peromingan and Allan Dimco.

Crowding the Eagles are the Hawks, the Kois, the Stallions, the Rams, the Bulldogs, the Tigers, the Wolves and the Vipers.
