Fil-Am Buntan faces tough Fairtex in kickboxing fight

FILIPINA-American Jackielou Buntan attempts to make a name for herself in ONE Championship as she takes on two-time Thailand Muay Thai champion Wondergirl Fairtex in a Muay Thai fight in “Fist of Fury” on Feb. 26, 2021 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.

Buntan, who fights out of Redondo Beach, California, is a Women’s IAMTF featherweight champion. She’ll be making her debut in the ONE Championship cage.

Fairtex, on the other hand, is one of the rising stars in Muay Thai of the ONE Championship. She knocked out Aussie Brooke Farrell in just 81 seconds on Aug. 21, 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Buntan has an impressive Muay Thai record of 20-5, while Fairtex is 34-16-2.

The show also features some of the best Kickboxers in the ONE Championship cage.

ONE flyweight Kickboxing champion Ilias Ennahachi (36-3) defends his title against two-time Lumpinee Muay Thai world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 (125-28-2) in the main event.

ONE featherweight Kickboxing Grand Prix champion Giorgio Petrosyan (103-2-2) locks horns with Davit Kiria (35-17), while four-time Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon (265-42-10) trades blows with Alejandro Rivas (20-4).

The show also features a Kickboxing fight between WFKO Karate world champion Hiroki Akimoto (23-1) against Zhang Chenglong (50-14-1), while two-time Pankration champion Victoria Lee makes her MMA debut against Sunisa Srisen (4-1).
