FIL-AUSSIE Joshua “Kuya” Culibao returns to the octagon when he faces Charles Jourdain in the undercard of the UFC Fight Night—“Holm vs. Aldana” on Oct. 3, 2020 at the UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The 26-year-old Culibao had a rude welcome to the UFC after suffering his first career loss via a second round stoppage in the hands of Jalin Turner last Feb. 22, 2020 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Culibao looks to bounce back against Jourdain, who has already fought three times in the UFC.

Culibao, who has a taekwondo base, made his pro MMA debut in 2016 with a first round stoppage of Paul Traish. He won his next seven fights before losing to Turner.

The 24-year-old Jourdain, on the other hand, is also looking to return to the winning column after losing his last fight to Andre Fili. Jourdain lost to Fili by a split decision just last June 13, 2020.

Culibao is 8-1, while Jourdain is 10-3.

The main event features former world champion Holly Holm (13-5) taking on Irene Aldana (12-5). (EKA)
