Four Ocon boxers to fight in Bohol next year

FOUR of Fernando Ocon’s pugs are seeing action in a boxing show in Bohol on Jan. 16. Anthony Sabalde, John Keenan Villaflor, Raymond Empic and Jimmybie Cais are all fighting in “Engkwentro Sa Pitogo.”

Sabalde faces off with Monico Laurente for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) super featherweight belt in the main event.

The 26-year-old Sabalde lost his last three fights to Nihito Arakawa, Zhimin Wang and Lei Wang and is 12-8 with seven knockouts, while Laurente is 30-13 with seven knockouts.

Villaflor (7-5-3, 2 KOs) will face Anthony Galigao (8-12, 3 Kos); Empic (6-2, 2 KOs) will fight Margarito Moya (9-7, 3 Kos); and 19-year-old Cais (1-0) will fight Renjie Diagan (0-3). EKA
