THE organizers of the Health Run Year 5 are inviting the runners and running enthusiasts in Cebu to join the fun run slated on Aug. 4 at the Pescadores Road, Cebu Business Park.

The run conducted by the ThreeSixty Pharmacy is open to all and will have four categories—the 21-kilometer, 12K, 6K and 3K. The four categories will have the men’s and women’s divisions.

“From our tagline quality life, we would like to promote health and wellness not just within our company but also to the community,” said ThreeSixty Pharmacy’s marketing officer Marianne Verano on Tuesday’s press conference.

Race director Joel Juarez of Coco Running said a total of P60,000 cash prizes will be given away to the top runners in every division.

“The impact of the run has been positive for us in the past years. The positive feedback is the reason why we continue to do this,” she said. “Now we are on our fifth year, and there are runners who are looking forward to this event.”

ThreeSixty Pharmacy has a total of 88 branches in Cebu, 18 of which will accommodate registration.

“So far there are no changes for this year. We just added a celerity guest. It’s the first time for the company to invite a celebrity,” said Verano, referring to actress Regine Tolentino, who will lead the zumba activity.

Aside from the cash prize, the runners have the chance to win exciting items in the raffle draw with a brand-new Iphone as the grand prize.

Juarez said the sponsors will put up booths within the finish area where the participants can get free sample products.

“Last year we got around 2,000 to 3,000 runners. We are expecting the same number this year. Right now the registrants are around 1,000. The registration is open until July 31,” said Verano.

Registration fee is P650 for the 21K, P550 for the 12K, P450 for the 6K and P350 for the 3K. RSC
