Hiroshi FC bags men’s open title

HIROSHI FC bagged the Men’s Open Division title of the 449th Cebu Province Founding Anniversary Invitational Football Cup over the weekend in Badian.

Hiroshi FC defeated Real Galaxy, 1-0, for the Men’s Open title. The team went unbeaten in the group stage with seven points from two wins and a draw. Hiroshi FC beat CTU and Alegria FC both by a 1-0 score line and had a scoreless draw with Barili FC B to finish at the top of Group D.

Meanwhile, the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Cebu won the Boys Under-18 crown with a 2-1 win over sister squad USJ-R Balamban and Barili FC won the women’s title. (EKA)
