Sunnexdesk

THE people behind every athlete’s success will get a well-deserved recognition as the national coaches are set to receive cash incentives for their efforts in the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, which was hosted by the Philippines in December last year. The country has allocated P45 million in cash incentives for the 182 national coaches, who played a vital role in the country’s quest for the overall championship in the biennial sporting conclave participated by 11 SEA nations. Under the provisions of Republic Act 10699, also known as the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act, national coaches whose athletes achieved a gold medal finish in the SEA Games will receive P150,000. For a silver medal finish a coach will get P75,000 and for a bronze medal finish, P30,000.00. / RSC
