Sunnexdesk

FILIPINOS can now nominate their favorite athletes who embodied sporting excellence between 1924 and 1994 to the country’s Sports Hall of Fame as the nomination officially opens on Sunday, March 1, 2020. The Philippine Sports Hall of Fame (PSHOF) Review and Evaluation Committee opened the process of nomination, which is the first phase of selection for the fourth batch of inductees. Republic Act 8757 also known as the PSHOF Act opens the nomination for amateur and professional athletes and coaches/trainers who brought distinction and honor to the country in their respective sports—either as an athlete, coach or trainer. The nominees need to have a wide, historic and unprecedented global impact by winning a gold, silver or bronze medal in prestigious international competitions such as the Summer Olympic Games, World Championships, Asian Games and Southeast Asian Games. / RSC
