VETERAN Froilan Saludar will be fighting under the Sanman Promotions banner after inking a deal with the promotional company.

The 32-year-old Saludar joins Sanman Promotions’ stacked roster of Pinoy pugs, the likes of interim World Boxing Council (WBC) bantamweight champion Reymart Gaballo, Mike Plania, Jade Bornea, Jeo Santisima, Melvin Jerusalem, KJ Cataraja, Mark Bernaldez, James Bacon and Romero Duno.

Saludar is coming off a convincing unanimous decision over Reymark Taday in an eight-round bout on March 17 in a Sanman Promotions show at the Sanman Gym in General Santos City.

Saludar was once one of the most promising prospects from the Philippines. He was once highly world-rated, but he lost his only world title attempt in 2018. Saludar challenged then World Boxing Organization (WBO) flyweight champion Sho Kimura, who knocked him out in six rounds.

Saludar owns wins over former world title challenger Komgrich Nantapech and Gabriel Pumar. He also fought but lost to the likes of former Olympian McWilliams Arroyo and Takuma Inoue.

Saludar, a 12-year veteran, is 32-4-1 with 22 knockouts. (EKA)
