Jhack Tepora's title defense of his interim World Boxing Association (WBA) featherweight crown with Hugo Ruiz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday, Jan. 20, has been cancelled after the Cebuano prospect didn't make weight.

Tepora tipped the scales 5.5 pounds over the 126-pound limit.

Former world title challenger Alberto Guevara will be Tepora's replacement.
