THE TNT Tropang Giga may be playing the rest of the PBA Philippine Cup finals without top forward Troy Rosario, who suffered injuries to his back and pinkie finger after landing hard on the floor in Game 3 on Oct. 24, 2021.

According to reports, TNT team manager Gabby Cui revealed that Rosario suffered spinal shock, which resulted in just 70 percent sensation in his left leg. The 6-foot-7 forward also suffered an open finger dislocation. Cui also said that Rosario is doubtful to return as he may need surgery.

The incident happened in the third quarter of TNT’s finals clash against Magnolia.

With 3:02 left in that stretch, Rosario attempted a transition layup but was bumped from behind by the Hotshots’ Jackson Corpuz. This led to Rosario landing on his back, writhing in pain, before he was helped to the sidelines by his teammates.

TNT eventually lost that game, 106-98.

The pivotal Game 4 is on Wednesday with the Hotshots looking for a win to equalize the series. (JNP)
