CEBU’s bikers will be on the road on Holy Friday for the charity ride organized by sportsman Voltaire Montebon for the benefit of Don Bosco Youth Center-Pasil.

Hundreds of bike enthusiasts are expected to hit the streets for the 200-kilometer cycling ride in Cebu on April 15, 2022.

The event is non-competitive and is organized by Montebon to generate funds for helping programs for the youth in Don Bosco Youth Center-Pasil headed by Fr. Lamberto “Jun” Paradiang.

Montebon, a triathlete and former varsity football player, said this is the second charity ride for VDM Sports following the success of the Community Bike Fun Ride last February 27.

He said the team is now finalizing all the details and technical aspects for the upcoming event.

Interested participants can now register at P1,200 inclusive of cycling jersey, packed lunch and post-ride meal, finisher shirt and race number.

Registration deadline is on April 5, and the race kits can be picked up on April 12 to 13 at the Vibo Place in Escario, Cebu City.
