Casas-Tumuran: John Wick 3 at NCCC Cinemas

AFTER casting our vote on May 13, we went to NCCC Cinemas in Buhangin, Davao City for the advanced screening of John Wick 3 Parabellum, presented by Magic 89.1 and Pioneer films.

Following the John Wick (2014) and John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017), the John Wick 3 Parabellum showcased well-choreographed fighting scenes and NCCC Cinemas’ Dolby Atmos made the sound effects more captivating, authentic, and deeper.

In this film, ex-hitman John Wick (Keanu Reeves) finds himself on the run from legions of assassins after a $14 million contract is put on his head.

The action runs fast.

There were gruesome scenes which involved knives, samurai swords and guns (well, it’s an action film.) But, it was also entertaining, loaded with some sense of humor.

If you love dogs, you will be impressed at how these creatures are trained for the film.

You should also not miss the epic martial arts showdown between John and Zero, a vengeful antagonist played by Filipino-American actor Mark Dacascos.

John Wick 3 Parabellum is now showing in NCCC Cinemas.

TIP: If you are not familiar with the first two parts, it would help to watch them before the new chapter.
