"Tapa Flakes, mao gyud na akong ma recommend gyud. But sa akoa lang na, klase-klase man ta og type (From all the variants, I can really recommend the Tapa Flakes. But that is for me, we have different types anyway)," Baste said during the press conference at the opening on Monday. He was with Tapa King Executive Vice President Carlo Lisandro Gonzalez.

Baste also renewed his contract with Tapa King for another three years.

It could be remembered that Baste first become the face of the establishment last year.

He said that he will remain loyal as he personally prefers Tapa King over other fast food chains in the city.

Tapa King first opened in Makati City and it started with the idea to give customer a rice meal alternative to hamburgers, hotdogs, and pizza.

As years passed by, Tapa King became famous since even students can afford the food on the menu.

At present, the brand has opened 100 stores and is looking forward to the next 100 more in the coming years.
