THE Cacao Industry Development Association of Mindanao (Cidami) has partnered with SM City Davao for the fifth Chocolate Festival this week.

Pinky Hinong, marketing manager of SM City Davao, said during the Kapehan sa Dabaw on Monday, October 15, that the event aims to encourage the Dabawenyos to grow cacao.

"Mas gusto daw sila mag-display diri sa SM kay mas kusog ang halin, (The exhibitors want to display here in SM because the sales are high)," said Val Turtur, Cidami president.

The highlights of the event will be "Swiss Chocolate-Making Technique with the 5th Generation Swiss Chocolate-Maker on October 18, Kiddie Chocolate Tour on October 19, Artisan Chocolate-Making on October 20 and Chocolate Caricature on October 21.
