Man arrested for grave threats

POLICE arrested a married man for threatening a woman with a bladed weapon on Monday, January 21.

A Talomo Police Station spot report said Henry Nazareno Gito, 38, barged into a boarding house and into the rented room of Sahicel Ledesma Mondejar, 23, threatening to stab her.

Mondejar sought police assistance at around 4:15 a.m. of January 21.

Gito, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, is currently under the custody of Talomo Police Station.

He will face charges of grave threat and possession of bladed weapons relative to the election ban.

Recovered from the suspect's possession was a piece of an estimated 10-inch long kitchen knife.
