Davao All-Stars vs Tin24 in tune-up

Adam B. Morrell

AFTER a month of training, the 33rd Kadayawan Basketball Invitational Tournament-bound Davao All-Stars will finally test its mettle when it collides with Team Tin24 Davao in an exhibition game at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Arcadia-Matina Enclaves basketball gym.

The friendly game, according to head coach Ronel Leuterio, who is also the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) executive program officer, will serve as preparation for the much-awaited tournament also to be participated in by University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) teams in August.

It will also determine who will make the official roster.

The Escandor Group of Companies-sponsored Davao All-Stars will showcase their game plan designed by Leuterio and former DLSU coaching staff Miggy Solitaria.

While the Davao All-Stars will rely on collegiate varsity players, Team Tin24 will lean on the services of former Davao Eagles forward Christopher Jatico and seven-footer Jabbar Mpouma.
