DAVAO City's Hyenas Football Club (FC) and Southshield FC annexed gold medals in their respective categories in the just-concluded Pinas Cup 2018 held at Clark Freeport, Pampanga.

The Hyenas FC, coached by Jefferson Manzanares, demolished Don Bosco Victorias of Negros Occidental, 10-0, in the boys under 10 division finals.

The Roland “Balot” Manabit-mentored Shouthshield FC, which recently won the Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA) Meet 2018 elementary football tournament, beat Siklab FC of the National Capital Region (NCR), 1-0, in the boys under 12 division titular showdown.

Hyenas FC was bannered by Anthony Elorde, Psalm Gabriel Loquero, Daniel Francison Pe Benito, Jose Andre Nuenay, Austin Louise Dilodilo, Yuan Guingguing, Norbert Mari Marfe, Harold Parlero, Carlos Donado, Zean Gabriel Delos Reyes, Jian Goyonan, Jilliana winstelle Dagpin, Gabriel Aaron Anthony Alar, Raphael John Dumandagan and Christoff Elgin Demandante.

Southshield was composed of Martini Nogadas, EJ Cabile, Carlos Angelo Lacerna, Kian Terrence Niu, Andrei Joshua Guingguing, Niel Imperial, Alchie Jan Campaña, Wyatt Arwin Gok-ong, Karl Francis Sumampong, Zyk Lopez, Charles Kenn Chiu, Victor Lagundi, Matthaeus Henricus Lim, Devon Kierulf, Cristo Kenya Castillo, Julio Antonio Yoldi and Ethan Zachary Basilio.
