Casintahan, Amador lead Pomelo winners

EJ CASINTAHAN and Jomari Amador shared top honors at the close of the 14th Pomelo Tee Member-Guest Golf Tournament held May 1 to 4 at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club in Mandug, Davao City.

Casintahan carded 75 to clinch the overall gross title, while Amador made 97 points for the overall net crown.

Karloz Alba shared the limelight by copping the class A gross champion's trophy (74) over Martin Castillo (74) and Joel Yamyamin (73), while Albert Cainghug (87) annexed the gross net title at the expense of Joseph Yun (85) and Ninot Galicia (83).

The rest of the winners are: class B gross champion Bong Hee Lee (72), second Eugene Chiong (67), third King Rivas (63) ; net champion Stephen Sandoval (91), second Vincent Arcenas (87), third Jun Serado (87); class C gross champion Don Zamora (57), second Ivan Tanopo (57), third Jan Barraquias (56); net champion Boyet Sonico (92), second Ronnie Magsico (90), third Jumbo Sotto (89); class D gross champion Martin Sara (49), second Kwang Keum Kim (48), third Charlie Bagarra (45); net champion Rico Rebigan (95), second Nathaniel Dalisay (91), third Simeon Gonzales (90); ladies gross champion Gemma Bokawachi (50), second Maricel Kim (35), third Christine Powell (35); net champion Ok Hee Park (82), second Maria Lourdes Babol (76), third Faye Hayno (57).

Proceeds of the annual golfest will benefit selected high schools in barangays Indangan and Mandug, as well as college scholars who are selected workers and dependents of caddies.
