Laro't Saya draws 300

THE resumption of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and City Government of Davao-organized Laro't Saya sa Parke (LSP) attracted more than 300 participants from all walks of life last Sunday, June 10, at the People's Park.

From children as young as six years old to senior citizens took part in the weekly program held Sundays.

National Sports Association (NSA) in various disciplines conducted free clinics including boxing, taekwondo and karatedo.

But zumba, according to the Sports Development Division-City Mayor's Office (SDD-CMO) monitoring team, has the most participants.

The program, which was re-launched last year, has been consistently drawing 300 to 400 participants weekly.

Last Sunday, June 3, participants from Cagayan de Oro City joined the zumba craze.

The LSP will resume on Sunday at the same venue from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
