Rule, Flores share top honors

JESRAEL Rule and Joseph Flores shared top honors in two separate Datba weekly qualifying tournaments held recently at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center.

Rule, whose handicap is 11, clinched the title Tuesday by hitting a total of 615 pinfalls after three games. Chris Ramajo, with a 30 handicap, settled for the runner-up honors, rolling 594 pins.

Flores, for his part, emerged champion Saturday evening, December 8. He struck for a total of 614 pinfalls in three games while Ronald Martin placed second and Ulene Rule finished third.

Martin garnered 605 pinfalls while Ulene Rule toppled 594 pins in the meet organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba). A total of 18 pintopplers competed in the bowlfest.

Cash prizes were awarded to the winners. Champions also booked tickets to

the monthly finals.
