Rule, Sia share top Datba honors

JESRAEL Rule and John Mark Sia shared top honors in separate Datba weekly qualifying tournaments held at SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center in Davao City.

Rule toppled a total of 689 pinfalls after three games in the 11-player field Tuesday evening, January 15.

He outclassed Joshua Disuacido and Rene Dalayon who finished second and third, respectively. Disuacido garnered 632 pinfalls while Dalayon made 628.

Cash prizes of P500, P300 and P200 were awarded to the top three winners.

Meanwhile, Sia rolled 624 pinfalls after three games to emerge champion Saturday, January 12.

He bested Toto Delfin and Mav Manuel who grabbed the next two places among 18 pintopplers who competed in the event.

Delfin amassed 621 pinfalls while Manuel scored 600.

Qualifying games for the monthly finals will resume Saturday evening. (MLSA)
