3 drug suspects arrested, P88-M drugs seized in Cavite

AUTHORITIES have arrested three drug personalities who yielded P88 million worth of illegal drugs in separate operations in Cavite, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Camilo Cascolan announced on Monday, October 26, 2020.

Cascolan identified the arrested suspects as Javier Sultan Mala, 43, Bino Sampaco, 43, and Mira-ato Macarampat, 27.

Sampaco and Mala were arrested during the conduct of a drug bust in Barangay Molino 2 in Bacoor. They yielded around five kilograms of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) with an estimated value of P34 million.

Macarampat was arrested in a follow-up operation in Barangay Mambog 2, also in Bacoor.

Seized from him were around eight kilograms of illegal drugs worth P54.4 million.

Cascolan said the three were considered “main players” in trafficking of illegal drugs in Cavite and southern Metro Manila.
