AFP identifies 4 more fatalities in C-130 crash

THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has identified four more fatalities in the C-130 crash in Patikul, Sulu.

The remains of Sergeant Jelson J. Sadjail, Corporal Alhamin U. Salahuddin, Private First Class Alzid S. Hawrani, and Private First Class Nazer S. Albaracin, all from the Philippine Army, were being prepared on Sunday, August 1, 2021, for transport to their families, the AFP said in a statement.

As of Friday, July 30, 2021, a total of 33 cadavers have been identified while 17 were still being identified.

A total of 50 soldiers and three civilians died when the plane crashed and burst into flames in Patikul, Sulu on July 4. Some of the bodies were burned beyond recognition.
