CIM graduate is Top 2 in physician board exam

A GRADUATE of Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM), Rey Zanoria Perez II, captured the second top spot in the September 2019 Physician Licensure Examination.

With a rating of 90.33 percent, Perez joined 17 others who landed in the top 10 places out of 4,006 successful examinees.

At the top spot is Federico Adriano Peralta IV of the University of Santo Tomas, with a rating of 90.92 percent.

Results published by the Professional Regulations Commission Friday, September 20, showed that two others from the UST made it to the top 10.

They are Eugene Richard Tan Yap (89.5 percent) in 5th place and Patricia Monique Liwanag Torres, who tied with two others in the 9th place with a rating of 89.08 percent.

Other topnotchers are: four from University of the Philippines Manila; 2 each from Angeles University Foundation, Ateneo de Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health, De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine; and 1 each from Far Eastern University and Manila Central University.
