Globe assures swift data transmission during elections

GLOBE Telecom, one of two dominant telecommunications networks in the country, assured on Friday, May 10, that it has optimized its network to ensure swift data transmission during the midterm National and Local Elections.

Election Day is on Monday, May 13, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and counting and canvassing of votes will commence immediately after voting ends.

Globe also assured that "all SIM cards provisioned for election use have passed the quality assurance tests conducted by Smartmatic."

"Globe is one with the nation in looking forward to a fair, honest, and peaceful elections," the company said in a statement. (MVI/SunStar Philippines)
