THE Pharmacy Licensure Examination (PhLE) that was scheduled on April 25-26 will only be conducted in areas under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), said the Professional Regulation Commission in an advisory Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Areas where the PhLE will be conducted are the following:

* Cagayan de Oro

* Cebu

* Iloilo

* Legaspi

* Lucena

* Pagadian

* Rosales, Pangasinan

* Zamboanga

“Only the examinees assigned to the above examination venues shall be allowed to take the PhLE as scheduled,” said the PRC.

The exams will be postponed in the following areas:

* National Capital Region

* Baguio

* Davao

* Tacloban

* Tuguegarao

The PRC said this is pursuant to the directives of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to postpone the conduct of the April 2021 licensure examinations in areas under GCQ to avoid cross-border transfer of examinees.

“Affected examinees will be taking their examination on appropriate dates to be determined by the Professional Regulation Commission and approved by the IATF-MEID,” it added. (Laureen Mondoñedo-Ynot/SunStar Philippines)
