Over 400 nurses, care workers needed in Japan

THE Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) announced that 32 nurses (kangoshi) and 401 careworkers (kaigofukushishi) are needed by the Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services.

"The government hiring facility of the POEA continues to accept applications to fill up the 32 nurses (kangoshi) and 401 careworkers (kaigofukushishi)," said the POEA.

Candidates for both positions are required to undergo 12 months of intensive Japanese language training before working, with six months dedicated for intensive preparatory Japanese language training in the Philippines, and the other six months for intensive Japanese language training in Japan.

To apply, qualified candidates first need to register online at http://onlineservices.poea.gov.ph/Online Services/POEAOnline.aspx, as well as personally submit the required documents to the POEA regional offices by July 28 and to the POEA central office by July 30, 2021.
