THERE will be no more travel restrictions on India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia beginning Monday, September 6, 2021.

But travelers, regardless of vaccination status, are required to comply with the appropriate entry, testing and quarantine protocols depending on the risk classification of the country of origin.

Malacañang on Saturday, September 4, 2021, said President Rodrigo Duterte approved the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to lift the restrictions and adopt the “Yellow” and “Red” lists, in addition to the “Green” list of countries/jurisdictions/territories.

The “Yellow” list are moderate risk countries based on the following metrics:

• For populations greater than 100,000, the incidence rate per 100,000 population shall be 50 to 500;
• For populations less than 100,000, the Covid-19 case count in the past 28 days shall be 50 to 500; and
• Rate of tests over the past 28 days per 100,000 population.

• For populations greater than 100,000, the incidence rate shall be more than 500;
• For populations less than 100,000, the Covid-19 case counts shall be more than 500; and
• Rate of tests over the past 28 days per 100,000 population.
