A KILO of a substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) was seized Thursday morning, March 21, in an abandoned vehicle along Bypass Road in Bustos, Bulacan.

Bulacan Police Provincial Office Chief Chito Bersaluna said a concerned citizen reported around 9 a.m. Thursday that a black Sedan car was abandoned along Bypass Road, Barangay Camachilihan in Bustos, Bulacan.

Policemen responded to the area and found the vehicle with its back door open.

Cops found inside the vehicle a kilo of "shabu" placed in a green plastic container. The packaging is similar to the P1.1 billion worth of shabu recovered by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in a drug raid in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City on Tuesday evening, March 19.

Investigators are trying to find who left the vehicle in the area, saying they could have links to the four Chinese nationals who were arrested in Muntinlupa. (SunStar Philippines)
