Sunnexdesk

THE United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will permanently close its field office in Manila effective July 5, 2019.

The US Embassy in Manila, however, will assume responsibility for certain limited services previously provided by USCIS to individuals residing in the Philippines, the USCIS announced on its website.

Since May 14, 2019, the USCIS Manila office has been redirecting Forms I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, to the USCIS Lockbox facility in Chicago.

The Manila field office last accepted applications and petitions on May 31, 2019.
