AFTER all that has been said and done, is there a second chance at love for Daniel Matsunaga and Erich Gonzales?

The two were spotted several times together before their show at the Cache Creek Casino Resort in Brooks, California this weekend.

The ex-couple flew to the US alongside each other, where they were spotted dining at the airport together and even shared the waiting room minutes before their performance.

Matsunaga was also very affectionate towards Gonzales. He embraced her and even planted a kiss on her forehead while singing on stage.

Star Magic reported on Friday that the two were able to talk before flying to the US.

To recall, Gonzales confirmed their break-up a couple of days ago.

She clarified that there's no third party involved in the split but Matsunaga's sister Vanessa reacted when the former failed to set the record straight on money issues.

Word war then ensued.

Vanessa left several messages on the actress' Instagram account saying they treated Gonzales as one of them and that money was never an issue as Matsunaga has work and their family is in a better position now.

She also explained that even though she and Daniel grew up from a middle class family, their parents sent them to a good school and they lived a comfortable life in Brazil.

Gonzales, who was keeping mum all this time, fired back by issuing a statement saying that if provoked, she will eventually speak up.

"Hindi ako mayaman, Vanessa. Tama ka, mahirap lang ako. Hindi ako kasing yaman ng napangasawa mo. Pero sa mundong ito, ang realidad, hindi lang mayayaman ang nate-take advantage. Mas maraming mahirap ang napapagsamantalahan."

Daniel, for his part, requested the public to stop bashing Vanessa and Gonzales and let them settle the issue away from the showbiz spotlight. (SunStar Philippines)
