DESPITE the gun ban, two men were shot in Magsaysay, Davao del Sur Tuesday evening.
Police Officer 2 Jerome Quaipo, investigator of Magsaysay police station, identified the victims as Florante Abella, 34, and Allan Buhaing, 21, both farmers and residents of Barangay Maibo.
According to Quaipo, the victims were drinking at home with two friends identified as Jun Catiawan and alias Dodo Pepito when an unidentified men shot at them around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The victims were hit in several parts of their bodies and brought to the Davao del Sur provincial Hospital.
Police are conducting further investigation to identify the gunman. No updates on the conditions of the victims were available as of Wednesday. (Orlando B. Dinoy)
