TULO ka mga policewoman ang gipasidunggan sa Police Regional Office (PRO) Northern Mindanao atol sa paglusad sa selebrasyon sa National Women’s Month niadtong Lunes sa Camp-Alagar, Lapasan, dakbayan sa Cagayan de Oro.

Ang rekognasyon personal nga gihatag ni PRO regional director Lyndel Desquitado ngadto kang Inspector Marilyn B. Pimentel isip "Best Family, Juvenile and Gender Sensitivity Section-Commissioned Officer", Senior Police Officer 2 Maricel O. Maisog, nga gikan sa Misamis Occidental PNP, isip "Best Family, Juvenile and Gender Sensitivity Section-Non-Commissioned Officer", ug Police Officer 2 Cherry C. Reyes, nga gikan sa Cagayan de Oro City Police Office, isip "Best Women and Children Protection Desk-Non-Commissioned Officer".

Gihatag ang ilang Certificate of Recognition niadtong Lunes sa Camp-Alagar, Lapasan ning dakbayan.

“The celebration kicks off with a parade and review which will be unique in the sense that the all-female parading troops will be under the command of a woman battalion commander and staff including two women company commanders and platoon leaders,” butyag sa tigpamaba sa PRO-Northern Mindanao nga si Superintendent Surki Sereñas.

Dugang niini nga ilang gihatagan og pagdayeg ang kababayen-an nga polis aron ipaabot nga patas ang pagtrato kanila ug adunay empowerment.

“In honor of all the women in the police service, the command employs policewomen in the men-dominated realm like commanding a unit. This is to connect gender gaps and promote gender equality and women empowerment within the police organization” matud ni Sereñas.
