3 wanted persons arrested

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Police have arrested three wanted persons in Nueva Ecija and Pampanga last Friday.

Chief Superintendent Rudy Lacadin, Police Regional Office-3 (PRO3) director, identified the suspects as Joel Bernardo, 31, of Barangay San Fernando Sur, Cabiao town and Alvin Yabut of Barangay Papaya, San Antonio town, both in Nueva Ecija; and Jose Pasion, 35, of Barangay San Isidro, San Simon, Pampanga.

Bernardo was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Celso Baguio of the Regional Trial Court branch 34, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.

Yabut on the other hand was apprehended with warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ana Marie Joson-Viterbo with recommended bail of P120,000.

The Regional Public Safety Battalion Region 3, armed with warrant of arrest issued by Judge Araceli Crisostomo of Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Apalit and San Simon, nabbed Pasion for attempted homicide with a bail of P12,000.

Lacadin said the regional police will continue its effort to put lawless elements and wanted persons behind bars. (Ric Sapnu)
