FOUR people, including two women, were hurt in separate shooting incidents in Davao City on Sunday morning.

The first incident happened at around 2:40 a.m. at Estores Village in Panacan, where the victim was identified as Judilen Sabardan Borac, 16, of Purok 2 in Barangay 76-A of Boulevard, this city.

In an initial investigation conducted by Roger Rivera of the Sasa police, Borac and her friends were on their way home from a disco party in the area when an unidentified man shot her.

Borac sustained a gunshot wound on her right shoulder while the attacker fled to unknown direction.

The victim was brought to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).

Rivera said personal grudge was the possible motive, adding that both victim and the attacker were believed to be involved in a gang war.

The second incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. on J.P. Laurel Avenue in Bajada, where the three victims were identified as Michael Villaflor, 24; and Chuckie Dela Vega, 25, all residents of Magallanes St. in Barangay 2-A; and Honey Rosales, 23, of Tagum City.

Records from San Pedro police showed that Villaflor sustained gunshot wounds on his head, lower jaw, and his right hand; Vega on his head; and Rosales on her head. They were all rushed to SPMC.

Police said the three victims along with their friend Jecca Reyes had an argument with a group of men, which led to the shooting incident. Two of the suspects were identified only as Dansoy and Ryan Bon Bajar, 27, of Davao City.

Dansoy managed to flee, while Bajar was arrested and is detained at San Pedro Police Station.

Sasa Police and San Pedro Police are now hunting down two other suspects behind the incidents.
