60 houses burned in Barangay Suba fire

AT LEAST 60 houses were burned in a fire that hit Barangay Suba, Cebu City Monday morning, November 21.

Firefighters received the alarm at 11:28 a.m. The fire was put under control 30 minutes after.

Senior Fire Officer 1 Edwin Handayan, fire investigator of the Cebu City Fire Station, said a certain Malvin Cabellao was also injured during the incident.

Handayan said the fire started in the three-storey house of Gaspar Bitor, adding that the cause of fire is still under investigation.

Bitor owned an internet cafe and a sari-sari store, Handayan said.
