CATBALOGAN CITY -- Anti-illegal drug operatives in Samar province netted at least seven "big time" drug traffickers during a synchronized One Time, Big Time anti-illegal drugs operations here, a police official said Wednesday.

Arrested were Domingo Cabacang alias Doming, 29; Pablito Isanan alias Nonoy, 36; Eulogio Catalan Jr., alias Lobo, 38; Danilo Rado alias Danny, 38; Elesio Morales, 33; Renato Fermilan Sr., 56; and Magdalena Estera, 39; all residents of Catbalogan City, said Samar Police Provincial Office Director Rommel Cabagnot.

Confiscated from the suspects were various drug paraphernalia, huge amount of money, guns and ammunitions that were turned over to a regional facility for examination.

The operation was conducted by virtue of search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 33 Judge Janet Cabalona.

Cases for violation of Section 11 and 12 Article II of Republic Act 9165 have been prepared for filing in court against the arrested suspects who were detained in a detention facility in Catbalogan. (Sunnex)
