MANILA -- Tropical Cyclone "Agaton" has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Agaton was located 1,000 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar with coordinates of 12.8 degrees north and 134.9 degrees east as of 11 a.m., the weather bureau reported.

No public storm warning signal has been raised, but Pagasa advises the public to watch out for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 p.m. today, Wednesday. (Angela Casauay/Sunnex)
