Armed man arrested in Lorega

A 32-YEAR-OLD man was arrested for carrying an unlicensed firearm in Barangay Lorega San Miguel, Cebu City past 4 p.m. last Tuesday.

Suspect Anthony Ostaga Salazar yielded a .38 revolver loaded with three bullets.

The suspect was reported to the police after he was seen carrying the gun.

Senior Insp. Narrolf Tan of City Intelligence Branch and his team went to the area and arrested Salazar after they saw him with the gun.

Salazar will be charged for violating Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, before the City Prosecutor’s Office. (KAL)
