Bacolod taxi driver returns student's wallet

A TAXI driver returned the wallet left by his passenger through the assistance of a television station in Bacolod City on February 16.

Romeo Dandal went to ABS-CBN Bacolod and turned over the wallet owned by Jose Mendoza, a student of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC).

The wallet contained an undetermined amount of cash, automated teller machine (ATM) cards, and several identification cards.

Dandal, in a television interview, said that he saw the wallet after Mendoza disembarked at CHMSC campus in Talisay City.

Two weeks ago, Dandal also returned a cellular phone owned by a Korean national.

Last Wednesday, taxi driver Warlito Siar turned over to Police Station 1 a bag containing P7,000 in cash, an iPhone 7, and assorted jewelry amounting to P300,000 to its owner Reynold Agustin.

Last week, taxi driver Teddy Hisuan of Barangay E. Lopez in Silay City also returned the wallet of his passenger Christian Rose Ywayan through the help of Bombo Radyo Bacolod.
