ALPHECCA Gonzales and Jasia Dorog will lead the Cebu Province Chess squad to the 2016 Batang Pinoy National Finals following their conquest in the recently concluded qualifying competition organized by the Cebu Province Sports Commission last weekend.

Dorog, 12, who beat Gonzales though tie break points, 15.0 to 13.0 after both players finished with 4.5 points each.

For the Boys side, CPSC is pinning high hopes on Aaron John Resma,10, and Joshua Villaran,12, who also tied with 4.0 points each in the tournament held at the Robinsons Galleria-Cebu last weekend.
