Best liempo in Davao

Sunnexdesk

A FILIPINO Christmas wouldn't be complete without something pork, something huge, and something tasty on the table. Yes, lechon! But if you are going for a more practical celebration, we always have liempo as an option.

For this month's Best of Davao episode, we were on the lookout for the best liempo in town. With the help of our followers on Facebook, we've selected the three most mentioned Davao-grown grillery with liempo.

And what better way to know the best than to have esteemed judges taste all crispy cutlets of this all-time favorite. Asia's Got Talent Grand Finalist Neil Llanes, TV Show Writer Ian Abog, and SunStar's Mark Parendos, Mariz Robilla, and Jennie Arado were game to sit with us and critic the three products.

While all of the three liempo gave that salty, and porky taste we are looking for, the judges said Epoy's Liempo had that crispy skin and tender meat- "yung tipo ng ulam na makakasira ng diet" they said.

All the judges agreed to have Epoy's Liempo as the best among the two others (they're quite famous too but we believe, we have varied sense of taste so I suggest you just watch the video we made on our Facebook Page: SunStar Davao for full details).
