A 25-YEAR-OLD call center agent drowned Sunday morning, April 30, in the waters off a beach resort in Barangay Poblacion, Santa Fe, Bantayan Island, northern Cebu.

Police identified the fatality as Joseph Mitchelle Rosos, a resident of P. del Rosario Extension, Cebu City, whose body was found by a fisherman around 4:30 a.m.

Investigation showed that before he drowned, Rosos' friends told him not to swim as he was drunk but he went on.

After his body was found by a fisherman, Rosos was rushed to Bantayan District Hospital but he failed to reach the hospital alive. (SunStar Cebu)
