THE construction of the P180-million Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT) located in an east coast village of Zamboanga City is now 70 percent complete, said City Engineer Luis Vicente Despalo.

The IBT is being constructed at Covarrubias Drive in the village of Divisoria, 6.2 kilometers east of this city.

Despalo said the construction of the IBT will be completed this year.

The construction works being undertaken by two private contractors -- 3VC Construction Company and Binhar construction firm -- started last December 16.

The new terminal has arrival and departure areas, road network, drainage system and lighting facilities.

Despalo said there will be food stalls and dry goods stalls in the terminal building that could accommodate 10 buses at one time.
