Dignos ready for Macau

Trina Louise Rivera, USJ-R intern

MELMARK Dignos is good to go for the biggest fight of his career, thus far, on Monday in Macau.

Dignos guns for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) Asia bantamweight belt against unbeaten Chinese Wen Feng Ge in the second of the two-day 2017 The 5th CCTV Chinese New Year Cup at the Cotai Arena.

“He’s ready. His sparring for this camp was very good because his sparring partners also have upcoming fights,” trainer Brix Flores told SunStar Cebu. “He has been sparring with (Joey) Canoy and (Renoel) Pael, who both also have upcoming fights. With his condition right now, he has a huge chance of winning.”
