Disconnected Connection

Y.A. Joey Tugung

Social media. It's everywhere. It has taken all shapes and forms and it has, to me, dictated how things are being done for most organizations. Well, at least, when it comes to how information is pushed out for consumption and how audiences are engaged.

It has, also, in more ways than one made us more disconnected while still remain connected. Paradoxical, isn't it? But it couldn't be more true.

I'm sharing with you here two videos about this subject. I'm hoping that it will, at least, open our eyes to how much effect social media is with our lives. I hope that for each time you get "plugged in" to the grid, you are reminded to "unplug" and come back to the real world where human interaction is a prime commodity.
